Taylor Swift Is Launching Her Own Clothing Line And It’s Everything You Wanted

This is not a drill, Taylor Swift is launching an actual, real life clothing line. In China. Well, it’s time to start pondering if moving continents would actually be that bad. Learning an entirely new language might be hard, but on the other hand, crop tops and skater skirts from TayTay’s own clothing line. Think about it.

Taylor Swift teamed up with a Chinese retail website, JD.com, to launch her own clothing apparel line. The website is opening a U.S. Mall division soon, in which they will sell “authentic American goods”, which is code for Taylor Swift clothing and other, unimportant goods. The website sells a huge variety of goods that go from shoes to tomatoes and they will expand their offer to be the only retailer of Taylor’s merch. According to different sources, the clothing line’s debut will be timed to come out just as the diva lands in Shanghai for her 1989 World Tour, this November.

Taylor’s fourth concert tour, 1989 World Tour started in Japan this past May, before moving to the United States and Europe through June. She’s back in North America to visit additional locations in the U.S. and Canada until the end of October. She has two dates in Singapore and three in China this November to round up the Asia portion of her tour, before traveling to Australia until December.

Swift is set to play November 10 through 12 in Shanghai and it looks like avid fans will be able to wear apparel inspired in Taylor’s own style. “JD.com is delighted to become the sole online source of authentic, high-quality Taylor Swift merchandise”, stated Richard Liu, founder and CEO of JD.com, the second largest retailer in China. “She is an enormously popular artist and true global cultural icon who is winning over thousands of new fans in China each day”, he continued. “It is gratifying to be recognized as China’s online shopping platform of choice for those who value authenticity and quality”, he finished.

Of course TSwift will try her own hand at designing the clothing line and will work together with Heritage 66 Company to create stylish dresses, tops and other items. This shouldn’t surprise anyone, as Swift is notorious for being best friends with just about everyone in the fashion industry and she herself has impeccable style. Since the announcement, JD.com Inc. stock has raised, which proves once again that Taylor Swift is an unstoppable force of success.

American fans have a hard time celebrating, since there’s no word on whether Taylor’s clothing will be available stateside eventually.
